Participation in Career / Education Fairs

Teams from Unity College participated in various Various Career / Education fairs in Pune, Nagpur, Jalgaon, Aurangabad, Nashik and Kolhapur to guide the students in various stages of their education.
 

Presentation on Academics Industry Interface of Unity College held in HR Forum at MCCIA, Pune

Mr. Sanjay Kumbare, President  addressed a group of HR Executives at MCCIA , Pune and presented Unity College’s  Academics-Industry Interface Program which is prepared to help students face  challenges of a  professional life by acquire necessary skills as they undergo their Post Graduate Program.
 

50 Career Opportunities Seminars held in 40 schools and colleges covering about 3500 students.

A team of teaching staff members visited 40 schools and colleges in and around Pune city to extend the awareness of the various career opportunities available to students in the innumerable sectors of the fast growing industry of today. There was a welcome response to every seminar conducted, and more than 3500 students were covered in these seminars.
Valuable advice towards their skill enhancements and personality development to sharpen their competitive edge was another aspect from which students have benefitted in all these seminars

Courses

Covering Personality Development, Computer Programming, Financial Programming and Tally, Six Sigma…

The Personality Development course focuses on Positive Attitude, SWOT Analysis, Interpersonal Relationships, Process of Self Development, Preparing for Interviews and Group discussions etc.. It gives students inputs on working towards becoming more confident to handle and face today’s challenges more effectively.

Computer Programming Course deals with programming languages and trains the students in programming skills in C, C++ and Java.

Financial Accounting and Tally, meant mostly for commerce students, deals with the use of computers in the field of Finance and Accounting, with special reference to hands on training on Tally, the most widely used accounting software in the country.

Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification provides an overall insight to the techniques of Six Sigma, its metrics, and basic improvement methodologies. A yellow belt must know how to integrate Six Sigma methodologies for the improvement of production and transactional systems to better meet customer expectations and bottom-line objectives of their organization. Apart from that we also offer the green belt and black belt courses.

Examination for 2010-2011 session

As per the Examination Schedule of the University of Pune, the examinations of the various courses are underway. The existing students of the college are expected to contact the Administration Department of the college for any guidance which they might need.

Fresh admissions for academic year
2011-2012 started

Admissions for the new academic year 2011-2012 are open as per the prescribed eligibility criteria of the University of Pune for the Graduate Level and Post Graduate Level Courses. The students should contact the college office for the details of the admission procedure.
